random drabble yey
Alias/Avatar crossover. Set shortly before Phase 1 (Alias) and shortly after The Crossroads of Destiny (Avatar)
"We all have our own agendas, Arvin," the other man said, quietly. "Unlike you, I have never tried to pretend otherwise."
Sloane toyed with his wine glass, considering. "Maybe you're right. But why come to me?"
"The others are...displeased with me. I failed to have my experiments secured when I fled SD-11. They might be in that little bitch's hands now."
"And God knows we don't want her father having access to mind control or any of the Rimbaldi artifacts you also failed to secure."
He snorted. "She has her own agenda, too. She's more concerned with eliminating her brother than handing my assets over to her supposed lord."
Sloane continued the former head of SD-11 carefully. It was a risk, revealing his current plan to the man, but Long Feng was easily the most intelligent member of the Alliance, and furious enough at the loss of his precious 'mindbenders,' as the word he used for the machines translated to, that he'd be willing to assist. And more than useful. "All right, then. I think we can make some sort of arrangement."
