you know what's annoying? when a one-shot side character designed to make a five-minute canon bit part character more human/give him a sounding board/exposition fairy ends up having a much more interesting personality and backstory than the character she was designed to flesh out. particularly since that backstory involves developing her parents. ::headwall::
