class today, 9-1. quiz, which i think i did pretty well on. i know i missed at least one or two, but overall i think i did well. then presentation on where we went out yesterday, which was...okay, i probably could've done better. then more going over readings in the textbook. (the textbook is poorly-constructed. not in the lessons themselves, those are perfectly fine, but in that the pages keep falling out -_-;; )

after class, me, ke, ka, je, ja, b, s, h, and d went to rainbow street for a very very nice lunch. i have pictures of the restaurant and the contraption they brought my food out on. very exciting :D then we wandered up and down for a bit, and ke, b, and ja went to hang out in a cafe for a bit and the rest of us came back to the hotel.

then we're met with ghassan at around 6 for a traditional dessert-type food, which was very good--very very sticky-sweet, and very textural, and kind of hard to describe otherwise. afterwards, me and ka and h and je wandered for a bit, then came back to the hotel. and that was my day today ^^
