Fandoms: Avatar: the Last Airbender/BSG
Timeline: A couple months after Shadows in the Sky. Still nailing down overall timeline for BSG, but I'm thinking before Sacrifice (because I like Billy, dammit), if it's possible to do that and take into account some of the developments from Downloaded (i.e., the shadiness around Hera's birth). Thoughts?
"How the hell did a native get his hands on one of our guns?"
"We're still looking into that, sir."
Navigating the intricacies of four nations still on a relative hair-trigger from their own war was bad enough without one of the few people with the clout to actually deal with the newcomers getting shot with a stolen weapon. If the boy died...
The natives had numbers and a lot of pent-up rage. If the boy died, the casualty count on both sides from the resultant explosion would be catastrophically high.
