dear dental insurance people
....wtf is wrong with you? seriously.
last november, i go to the dentist for regular cleaning. get told i was taken off the insurance as of last september, though i should be covered for another two years. i pay the whole price, get taken care of, told i have to get my wisdom teeth extracted, fine.
last january, i go to the oral surgeon for the extraction, after it's been confirmed over the phone that yes, i am covered. get taken back, they put the laughing gas on and set me up for the iv conscious sedation.
...and insurance says i'm not covered. what.
after like an hour of phone tag, it gets straightened out, i am covered, blahdiblah, extraction goes well.
so, today, i was supposed to get another cleaning in...about 45 minutes. fifteen minutes ago, the dentist calls me.
"::insurance:: says you're not covered as of september 30 2010."
WHAT THE HELL.
so, yeah. that was my morning.
