shadowsong26 | i still taste the salt

the dead sea was a pretty weird experience. you'd get to like...waist deep, if that, and then you'd float away from the bottom. it was kind of awesome.

also, it tasted really horrible, but that's to be expected. it was really hard to remember not to lick my lips though.

it was also really hard to change your...level of uprightness? i'm sure there's a real word for that, but i don't know it. but i'd be lying on my back and then have to scramble upright, or on my stomachish to try and move, and have the same trouble getting upright. but the weightless feeling was amazing, if weird.

we left at about 930, and drove for an hourish to get there, then spent a whie in the water before shopping for the skin stuff. of course, i'd brought everything i needed to change into after we got out of the water...except another t-shirt. so i scrambled around and eventually borrowed one from h, which was very nice of him ^_^

then we went back to the city for lunch and hanging out, and i watched star trek with my roommates. :D

tomorrow, we might go to jerash, or we might go to the citadel. or we might do both. i got no idea what the plan is. but we'll see.
