so, i'm putting together an au for the summer blockbuster challenge on rainbowfic, and i'm drawing on criminal minds for my second canon, crossing with feredar. focusing on kit, obviously, because kesshare's subtle enough not to get caught.

but i have a dilemma--i want to stick to cm standards/formulae, which means a realist modern-day au. so i'm having trouble defining kit's victim pool, since it can't be werewolves or metal-mages. any suggestions?

(for reference, the stressor is when his half-brother, of whom he's obsessively possessive, gets attacked and nearly killed, and his victim pool and portions of his mo are defined that way.)

What about something like True Night? His victim pool could be gang-related. Easier because Kit himself is black and most murders are intraracial.

...oooh, that could work. Especially if he defines 'gang-related' really broadly, and targets relatives of gang members who aren't involved. Since he doesn't care about age or gender, so long as they fit the one criterion that's most important to him. Yay, camouflage! It won't hold up long, obviously, because Garcia, but it'll be fun while it lasts.
