Well, first, I was rereading FG logs and Des and Ben and Irina woke up. And Skin Game isn't going to help with them, based on the summary. But it's cool, I like them.

Then I was reading old IM logs, and the universe that woke up was a really weird BSG...not AU, exactly, but a long-range projection of the thousand or so people left on New Caprica? And then it was an SG-1 crossover because apparently I was watching SG-1 at the time. And I actually sort of like the setup, though no clue how I'm gonna make it work filing the serial numbers off...

Oh, right, I remember that! Maybe replace the Stargates with long-term space travel?

I probably will. That's actually the easy part--it's harder to scrape off the BSG origins for the survivor nations, mostly because Head!Baltar plays a pretty huge role in one of them...
