So, I'm reading a biography of Cardinal Richelieu, and I have to say that I love that there is an actual historical event called the Defenestration of Prague. And it's actually kind of an important one, since it was one of the immediate falling-dominoes that led to the Thirty Years' War.

ETA: I just looked it up on Wikipedia and apparently there were two Defenestrations of Prague--the one I just read about and another in 1419. XD

Baron Lloyd-Weber (...or possibly Charles Hart, since I think he wrote most of the lyrics), you do know what a passion play is, right? Especially considering you wrote one?

(Side note: not all are actually about Jesus; the first record of a play in written human history is an Egyptian passion play, IIRC, but the principle is the same)

anyway, i've been rereading 'the three musketeers', which is one of my favorite books. now, all the stuff about george villiers and anne of austria must be taken with a grain of salt, but this is a historical novel (dumas pere wrote in the 19th century) based on a historical novel (written in...1701, i think) based on the real-life 1620s adventures of a musketeer named d'artagnan.
